VJ-Series
Vacuum Jacketed CO2-N20 Receivers
Taylor-Wharton is a
worldwide leader in cryogenic manufacturing. We applied many years
of insulating expertise and developed the VJ-Series, Vacuum-Jacketed
CO2 N20 Receivers. Our superior vacuum
insulated technology eliminates the need for mechanical
refrigeration for most applications. If your operation utilizes as
little as 7 lbs. (3.2kg) per day of gaseous product, you will enjoy
a complete no loss system.
The VJ-Series and our
vacuum insulated technology mean lower operating costs. The
VJ-Series models are virtually maintenance free and the electrical
power cost savings make these units superior to foam insulated and
mechanical refrigeration units.
The new piping
arrangement makes field hook-up faster and more cost efficient. And
the wider range of size offered in our VJ- line covers more
application requirements.
Each VJ-Series vessel
is manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of either the
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division I or
AD-Merkblatter. The maximum allowable working pressure is 350 psig
(24 bar/2413kPa). The outer jacket is constructed from ASTM A-36
carbon steel and is protected with a two-coat epoxy/polyurethane
paint system. Each VJ receiver can be customized by adding some of
the following optional equipment and accessories: Steam or electric
pressure building systems, optional manway, evaporation coil,
product vaporizers, low pressure alarms, and various valve
configurations
