Effective Monday, June 10, 2002 Taylor-Wharton will increase prices 6% on all steel high pressure and acetylene cylinders to offset rising prices from our steel suppliers. As you are aware, steel is the major component of a gas cylinder, cap and collar. This will affect all Taylor-Wharton customers except those currently under signed contracts. Contract prices will also be adjusted as contracts permit.
We are also discontinuing our prepaid freight policy on all steel cylinder shipments occurring on or after Monday, June 10, 2002.
We will honor current price schedules for all cylinders ordered and shipped prior to June 10, 2002, subject to available capacity.
Thank you for your business and continued support of our products and services in these volatile economic times.
New general price sheets will be available on our website www.taylorwharton.com by the effective date. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact your Taylor-Wharton Account Executive or our Customer Service Team at 1-800-821-2975.
