Camp Hill, PA (January 16, 2001) - Harsco Corporation’s Gas & Fluid Control Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Virginia P. Henschel to the position of Group Vice President – Administration. In this position, she will direct the Human Resources, Legal, Environmental, Safety, e-Business and Public Relations departments. She will also retain direct responsibility for liability risk management. "Gynger Henschel has represented Harsco and the Gas & Fluid Control Group with the utmost level of professionalism and enthusiasm," said Ronald W. Kaplan, President of Harsco’s Gas & Fluid Control Group. "I am certain that she will approach her new appointment with the same level of determination and vigor, assuring an uncompromised level of success." Gynger received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Dickinson College and her J.D. degree from Wake Forest University. She began her career with Harsco in 1998 as a Senior Staff Attorney for Taylor-Wharton. In 1999, she was promoted to Senior Counsel/Director of Risk Management where she provided legal support and managed the Legal, Environmental and Safety departments for the Group.
