Taylor-Wharton
Launches New Wireless Telemetry System
T-W
and DataQwest Inc. combine efforts to produce new device.
Harsco Gas & Fluid Control Group’s
Taylor-Wharton Industrial Gas Division is pleased to introduce their
revolutionary new wireless telemetry system – KeepFull®
. The
KeepFull®
System is the result of combined efforts between
T-W and DataQwest Inc. (Berkeley Heights, NJ) to produce a low cost,
reliable and easy-to-use monitoring device for bulk cryogenic
storage vessels. Bulk tank information such as liquid levels, usage
and re-order points are monitored and accessible to both users and
distributors through any Internet compatible device.
"The new KeepFull® System
is getting a lot of attention throughout the industry," said
Rob Holoboff, Taylor-Wharton’s Product Manager, Bulk Storage
Systems. " We have worked very closely with DataQwest, an
industry leader in providing web based tank monitoring services, to
perfect this new product. The fact that bulk tank contents can be
reliably monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week provides customers
with an unsurpassed level of confidence in their gas supplier’s
ability to deliver product. And in our industry, reliable product
supply equals customer retention." He added, "This system
presents an enormous opportunity for distributors to improve their
operational efficiencies and reduce their distribution costs."
All new Taylor-Wharton bulk cryogenic
vessels are shipped KeepFull® ready. KeepFull®
can
be field installed on any Taylor-Wharton bulk tank in less than 30
minutes. It uses no software, no phone or electrical wires. The
system is powered by a solar rechargeable battery that requires only
an average of one hour of sunlight a month to assure continuous
operation. The system has also been designed to optimize
distribution fleets by eliminating unscheduled and redundant
deliveries and by limiting the number of site visits.
